That Sarah Palin is a breath of fresh air and the energizer for the forgotten right wing of the Republican party is a no-brainer. That Sarah Palin will help Republicans raise needed cash is already coming into the coffers as McCain and the Republican party now has bout $200,000,000.00 to battle Obama. But one thing that's being currently lost in all the euphoria needs to be mentioned.
It's John McCain who is running for president!
Sarah Palin will soon take on less and less exposure as we head to the first of three debates. It's the McCain persona and the McCain agenda that runs the show, not the Palin, more conservative, brand of Republicanism. John McCain and running mate Sarah Palin — fresh from a rousing sendoff Thursday night at the Republican National Convention — hit the campaign trail running Friday, trying to win over voters with their new "Change Is Coming" mantra.
Comparing the two keynote speeches (McCain and Palin) is day and night.
Sarah Barracuda will have another day in the sun light- many days. But over the next sixty days she will be thrust back into the role that she's been approved for as John takes back the lead pony position.
Both parties have now carved out a CHANGE mantra; however, I feel that what we're going to see down the road, over the next sixty days, is not so much a discussion of CHANGE, not of who has the most EXPERIENCE. What happens here in America and on the world stage will cause both camps to CHANGE their approach and what they are touting. It's obvious that Obama is a light weight in the area of experience, even more so than Ms. Palin.
Isn't what our nation and world needs are people with a VISION, more so than experience?
Both campaigns are not in control of what's coming, what's not seen. Can you say a major economic melt down, more than what we now see. An Israeli attack on Iran. An unexpected set back in Iraq. An escalation of the war around or in Georgia. Major problems with Pakistan-Afghanistan. Capture of Osama bin Laden, etc. Get ready for the unexpected and the candidate or party that handles though as best could be, will win- Sarah Palin notwithstanding.
Get ready for at least one October surprise!
